Mopani Door-to-Door for Mobilisation

 On the 17 July 2009 we are going to march to the District Department of Health Offices. We intend to start our march from the open space opposite Giyani Magistrate Court thenwe will use the main road to the Mopani District Department of Health where we are going to hand over the memorandum of demands.

 TAC Mopani has been engaging on the door-to-door campaign as part of mobilising for the Resources for Health March that will be held on the 17 July 2009 in Giyani. On the 2nd , 3rd and 4th of July 2009 we managed to reach Bridge-Way which is an area under Ramalema Branch, Mokgolobotho which falls under Dan Branch and Kgapane. The topics of the door-to-door were determined by the challenges identified from the respective communities.  In all The campaign, mobilisation messages were added to the topics we talked about so that the communities understands why are we marching.

In Bridge-Way we spoke about ARV Adherence, this is because we have identified that there were more people who were not adhering properly on treatment. We have distributed 300 Sepedi Pocket NSP booklets at this door-to-door campaign. We will continue with door-to-door mobilisation from the 13-16 July 2009 at Giyani Town and local communites.
