TAC represents users of the public healthcare system in South Africa including people living with HIV and TB, women and young people, people who use drugs, sex workers, LGBTQIA+ community members, migrants, and people with disabilities. We campaign on critical issues to ensure access to quality and dignified health services for all. We currently have around 10,000 members and a network of 285 branches. The local activism of our members is the true life-blood of TAC. By organising locally, our members demand accountability and quality healthcare services where the services are actually delivered.
