Media Alert: Treatment Action Campaign to launch a PEOPLE’S HEALTH MANIFESTO 2021 (Virtual)

The Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) invites all media to the launch of its People’s Health Manifesto.

The manifesto contains 12 key themes that we will put to political parties in the run-up to the elections in November 2021.
In this way, we hope to sensitize political parties to key issues in our health system and to seek clarity on how parties intend to
respond to these issues.

The manifesto was developed through extensive consultation with TAC members and partner organisations and communities all over the country.
While we could not cover all the important issues in the health system, the manifesto does reflect many of the most urgent difficulties that users of
the public healthcare system have been reporting.

Members of the media are invited to attend.
