Refugee emergency
We are grateful to the many people who helped with the humanitarian relief effort from 23 May to 2 June. Regrettably, the state is still failing to provide sufficient relief. We have therefore stepped up our relief efforts again. TAC continues to need donations for humanitarian relief and our advocacy efforts against xenophobia. Submission on Draft Guidelines for the Management of HIV in Health Facilities
16 May, 2008 - 09:36 — moderatorTAC has a made a submission to the Department of Health (DoH) and the South African National AIDS Council (SANAC) on the new draft DoH Guidelines on the Management of HIV in Health Facilities (Guidelines). The submission presented yesterday (16 May) by Zackie Achmat at a meeting of SANAC's Techinal Task Team on HIV Treatment, Care and Support. Later this month the submission will also be presented at the SANAC Plenary.
