TAC makes submission on new Department of Health draft Guidelines for the Management of HIV in Health Facilities

We wish to inform you that TAC has a made a submission to the Department of Health (DoH) and the South African National AIDS Council (SANAC) on the new draft DoH Guidelines on the Management of HIV in Health Facilities. The submission will be presented today by Zackie Achmat at a meeting of SANAC's Techinal Task Team on HIV Treatment, Care and Support. Later this month the submission will also be presented at the SANAC Plenary.

Demonstration at SASFU versus SADF court case

There is a demonstration organised by TAC outside the Pretoria High Court today at 11am today in support of SASFU's court case against the SANDF to try and stop discrimination against HIV-positive soldiers.
