TAC is currently looking for a new editor for our high quality magazine for people living with HIV, Equal Treatment. Here are the job requirement and details on how you can apply.

Minimum Requirements

  • Journalism Qualification
  • Three year minimum experience
  • The ability to understand and translate scientific research pertaining to HIV, TB and relevant public health issues in South Africa
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the science of HIV, TB and Gender-Based Violence policy in South Africa
  • Ability to organise and coordinate projects
  • Committed to the aims of TAC

Skills Required

  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent writing and editing skills (English)
  • Financial management skills
  • Good analytical thinking
  • Leadership and management of people skills

Key Performance Areas

  1. Oversee production and editing of Equal Treatment
  2. Help create public understanding of HIV and TB by supporting districts with information and material
  3. Budgetary Management
  4. Supporting district PCR staff in development of writing and reporting skills
