anti Xenophobia T-shirts
At the Canterbury street depot one of the volunteers who was wearing the T-shirt (that was distributed at the St.George's gathering) had crossed out the word 'foreigner' and written AFRICAN - that says it all - i think any future runs of the T-shirt should do the same: show the word foreigner striked out and have AFRICAN written below.
On another note: we put down our names as volunteer drivers but have not yet been contacted. Surely there is a huge need to move supplies around? I also wonder whether children need transporting to school or to the nearest train station - especially those in high school with mid year exams coming up. Are school principles being contacted regarding the children's safety?
