Refugee emergency
We are grateful to the many people who helped with the humanitarian relief effort from 23 May to 2 June. Regrettably, the state is still failing to provide sufficient relief. We have therefore stepped up our relief efforts again. TAC continues to need donations for humanitarian relief and our advocacy efforts against xenophobia. Complaint to the South African Human Rights Commission against MEC of Health for Kwazulu-Natal
14 May, 2008 - 16:00 — moderatorThe AIDS Law Project, acting on behalf of the Southern African HIV Clinicians Society, the Rural Doctors Association of Southern Africa and the Treatment Action Campaign has made a submission to the South African Human Rights Commission requesting an investigation into human rights violations committed by the MEC for Health in KwaZulu-Natal, Ms Peggy Nkonyeni. The submission also addresses actions by her staff.
